The People’s Emergency Briefing Film
Thursday 17th September | 6.30pm | St. Mary's Church
Following five metrological heatwaves this year and over 1,000 fires across the UK, we are facing a growing climate and nature emergency. It's a message Sir David Attenborough, King Charles, and others have been sharing over many years, but have we really listened? What does this mean for our lives, economy, and future? What does it mean for the elderly and children in Prestbury?
On 17th September at 6.30pm, Prestbury People Planet in association with St Mary’s Church, is showing the People’s Emergency Briefing in the church. This 50-minute film features Chris Packham, public figures and experts sharing the latest evidence on climate and nature breakdown, its national implications and most importantly, credible, positive responses aiming to inform and engage communities in collective action.
This film is being shown across the UK and has already been seen in other churches, village halls and schools across Cheltenham. Now it’s Prestbury's turn - we hope you will join us.
